Earthly Treasures

This lyrical work for cello and piano was composed for the dance film Seoda Dé, Damhsa Diaga (Earthly Treasures, Heavenly Sent) by filmmaker Tina Horan and the New Moon Youth Dance Company.

Inspired by the Irish forests in Spring. Warm, tender and expressive, the piece captures the gentle movement and beauty of the choreography. Accessible for intermediate players. It is a sweet and memorable performance piece that is enjoyable to learn and rewarding to play.
